MOBILE RECEIVING

MOBILE RECEIVING

This guide shows how the mobile app streamlines receiving shipments by letting you scan shipping or order documents, auto-extract document data from photos, and scan item barcodes to update quantities instantly. It highlights handling tracked elements (lot numbers/serial numbers), queuing documents for later receipt by any user, and completing put-away and finalization steps so inventory is accurately recorded and ready for use.

1. Open the mobile app

On your home screen you will be able to view high level information for the location you are presently at for other business locations. You may review open shipments and receive the inventory into the system.

2. Tap "Receive"

3.  Tap "Capture Shipment" or enter SKU manually using "Blind Receive" option.

Info
Capture Shipment will allow you to receive inventory against a document (such as a packing slip, PO, or transfer document). If you do not have documents to receive against, use the "Blind Receive" option.

4. Tap "Capture"

After selecting "Capture", you can take a picture of the document you wish to receive against. Alternatively, you can manually enter in a document you are receiving against.

5. Tap "Confirm"

After taking a picture, the system will read the data provided and populate the screen with the information captured. Select the shipment type from the drop down. Review the information and either edit the row or tap "Confirm".

6. Tap the new shipment you want to receive against.

You can input documents you plan to receive against at a later time.  They will be present in this list for any user to receive against.

7. Tap the blue scanning icon.

All items that are read in the document you are receiving against will be present here.

8. Tap the camera icon to capture a barcode.

Notes
If you scan a barcode with camera view, the system will automatically update the quantity (qty) received in the shipment. NOTE: if you have tracked elements enabled, you will need to capture that additional information.

9. Tap the Camera icon.

10.  Tap "Put Away" after scanning all items

11.  Tap "Finalize Receipt"

To assure you have captured every item listed in the document, you can review items you have received prior to finalizing.

12. Tap "OK"
