MOBILE TAKE, TRANSFER, & COUNTS
Learn how to use the Take, Transfer & Count features in the WAStockID mobile application. This guide walks you through using the Take, Transfer & Count functions of WAStockID.
Take
1. Tap "Take" from the actions tab in the mobile app
2. Tap "Manual"
Ensure you have the correct location selected prior to scanning any items. Make sure to change your location.
NOTE: you cannot transact against a location if it is not at the bottom of the location hierarchy AND if the item is not associated to the location.
3. Tap the Camera Icon to scan the barcode
NOTE: if element tracking is enabled, you will need to capture the additional information through scanning or manual entry.
4. Select the quantity you are taking

Tip! You can tap the plus button, or you can select the number and manually enter the quantity you will take.
5. After scanning all items that you want to take, tap “Finalize”.
Tip! You can review all items that are a part of the take session prior to finalizing.
6. Tap ok.
7. Tap Transfer from Actions
NOTE: you cannot transact against a location if it is not at the bottom of the location hierarchy AND if the item is associated to the location.
8. Select outbound.
8. Confirm your current or starting location, then select the Destination location from the dropdown.
9. Tap "Continue"
10. Select the camera icon to capture barcode(s) of the items you wish to transfer or enter the items SKU's manually.
Note: If the item has tracked elements, (i.e. Expiration, Lot, Serial) you will need to capture or enter that information in addition to the SKU of the item.
11. Tap "Review"
12. Review the items and quantities selected for transfer and tap "finalize"
13. Tap "OK"
Counts
14. Tap Count from Actions and then select Freeform.
NOTE: you cannot transact against a location if it is not at the bottom of the location hierarchy AND if the item is associated to the location.
15. Tap the camera icon to start scanning barcode(s) of the items you want to count against in your inventory.
Tip! You can count against a single SKU or count against your whole inventory at a location; it is up to you in Freeform mode.
16. Count up your items and tap counted.
Tip! You can count using the plus button, type in the quantity by selecting the number, or tapping Matches Expected when the counts are a 1 to 1 match. NOTE: All inventory with tracked elements enabled will require the capture of those entities as well.
17. Review the SKUs counted and tap “finalize”.
18. Tap "OK"
